@joeycochran I agree in the global, worldwide, Church. But the term Globalism has been co-opted and means something very specific and antagonistic, biblically antithetical. Words have meaning and you wont find common ground with someone who holds a different understanding of the words you use

@JesseDornfeld It’s too early for me to expect much of #1 . #2 is important. #3 is interesting. I’m inclined to be more suspicious of someone with lots more followers than they choose to follow. Implies low likelihood of future interaction. Also might be ‘too busy’ to bother following back!
@EhzNow It is impossible to be ignorant of the unbiblical nature of the world, IMO and no party reflects a biblical world view. Christianity is not about implementing a theocracy in advance of Jesus’ Kingdom coming. My timeline here is carefully curated to build me up not bring me down.

@mickdscott I agree on context, but Noah’s drunkenness is more than an incidental point leading to Ham’s betrayal. Noah’s behaviour could have been diminished without detracting from the bigger picture… instead it is incongruous and shocking in its own right.
Noah’s drunkenness in Genesis 9:21 has always bothered me. I realise that we all fall short, but this incident is shocking in the context of Noah having just survived as one of only 8 people saved from the Flood. Is that the intention? The juxtaposition of sanctification and sin? t.co/YW8i4FYIc…

@weeks_lee I think it does both! Admittedly, there are some bits that nourish more than thrill, but there are parts that move at such a pace & are filled with foreshadowing, types of Christ, profound insights that the only reason why it did not thrill would be because one missed the point!
@SameOldNancy @w_bitterman It all comes down to the dilution of Gospel truth to being all about nice life lessons, emotions and feelings. If you don’t believe that there is only one God and one Way to eternal life, you won’t care whether those you care for seek salvation in Him either.
