Consider his repeated mentions of ‘boasting’ reflecting his awareness of that trait in himself. I believe that Spirit worked through the individuals selected and that there is an imprint of their personality on the result.

@JesseDornfeld I smoked rollups for 14 years from 18. Stopped for 8 years. Started again for 3 then switched to vaping and reduced the nicotine content to 0 over about 3 months then stopped. It took willpower but can be done. In the end you just have to draw a line.
