@Curi_Christian Matthew Henry is extraordinary for depth. The ‘New Matthew Henry Complete Commentary’ has also been rewritten into more modern English and is one of my go-to’s. Especially for the Old Testament.

@EhzMinistry I must admit that I thought that with the reference to Timothy in He 13:23. I didn’t realise there was a tradition suggesting that Paul was the writer. It would make sense that alongside writing to the Gentiles in Rome, he’d write to the Hebrew diaspora too. Beautiful letter.
@ambaptized How do you understand all the references, throughout the Epistles, about fruits in keeping with repentance? That is what I meant by ‘repent and mean it’. There are many other references to the discernment of sincere faith, not just words. Apologies if I missed your point.
