@AndrewS76825037 @GodCallsUs I agree. As an encouragement though I feel it’s worth focusing on the latter rather than the former. Thinking narrowly of the divisions in ‘Christian Twitter’ there’s a lot of effort spent judging people’s motives and I think the bigger picture is sometimes missed!
@AndrewS76825037 I 100% agree on this. The thought of putting a Bible beyond use is shocking to me. Give it to someone who might pick it up - or leave it in public where someone might find it. With a note inside giving the blessing of Gods free gift.
@PilgrimIntoWord I hope you hear from your friends soon Shannon. Ukraine’s people are showing such impressive bravery and stoicism. No-one can imagine what it would be like to be in fear of losing everything, to see friends lose everything until they go through it themselves. We are so coddled.
Now Reading: Proverbs

Isaiah 65:17 and 20 Not a description of the eternal Kingdom, nor a description of a millennial new Jerusalem… there’s no death or sin in either… but hope and inspiration for the believer, perhaps, that things can and will get better.

@AndrewS76825037 Well it pretty much perfectly summarises my own ambivalence towards screen portrayals of Jesus. It’s not a simple question but the writer answers it well. I’d rather come to a personal understanding of the emotional power of scripture rather than risk relying on someone else’s.
@JesseDornfeld It’s beautiful isn’t it? It’s called ‘Go and Make Disciples’ but I don’t know the artist, unfortunately. t.co/ZGdBzIPwc…
@StoneKamino May the Lord give you and your wife strength to weather this storm. Be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded. 🙏🏼
@EhzNow @YouTube I love how Robert Smith has only ever had one love, and that this song is about her. A Forest is my all time favourite Cure song.
@KevinObie1 Well done for bringing expression to the reading! I’m half-way through my end to end read at the moment, so won’t be able to keep up with you, but you have earnt a new subscriber! I recommend you also upload to Spotify. More convenient for the car 😃
Isaiah 61:11 For as the earth brings forth its sprouts, and as a garden causes what is sown in it to sprout up, so the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise to sprout up before all the nations.

@khutch0767 A7. Job exemplified all the Beatitudes of Matthew 5:3–11. And Matthew 5:12 sums it up for him - after everything he went through:
Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you. #HealthyFaithChat
@khutch0767 A6. I don’t think many of us really know what suffering is. Compared with many in the past and around the world, we live blessed lives. We should reflect carefully and be grateful to Him for what we have, not what we want, or miss.
#HealthyFaithChat
@ohtacosforotaku Yes. I am encouraged by Revelation 1:7 Every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him. Christ’s second coming will be impossible to miss. Even to His haters. #HealthyFaithChat

@khutch0767 A5. He sees what we see. He witnesses our squabbles and our conduct. We can leave retribution with Him, for His judgement will be righteous and just.

@EricxDunn This is so true. #HealthyFaithChat
@khutch0767 A4. Social media definitely encourages a culture of negativity and tribal judginess. First take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye. Matthew 7:5

@KevinObie1 His work on me is taking a little longer! #HealthyFaithChat
