@AndrewS76825037 Betrayal was necessary to fulfil the prophecy in Zechariah 11:12-13. And the price (30 pieces of silver) was the cost of a gored slave by a neigbour’s oxen in Exodus 21:32. Judas chose to betray but was chosen to fufill Christ’s destiny.
@AndrewS76825037 Would there have been a Gospel if Judas Iscariot had not been amongst the twelve? Jesus chose him because He knew he would betray him. He predicted it, as we know, but did the Romans need Judas to point Jesus out? It was dark, but Jesus would have responded if they’d called.

Committing more scripture to memory is something I plan on doing this year.
