@JesseDornfeld It misunderstands grace. We are not chosen because we are worthy, we are chosen because He is worthy, and we can be useful in His plan. If we tend to hubris, we should look in scripture at who else God used to achieve His will. If we read correctly, that should be humbling.
@JesseDornfeld I recall a time when I was examining fulfilled prophesy, and when the history and archaeological evidence were more important, but at a point it clicked and I believe the Holy Spirit stepped in; any doubt lifted. The burden of proof shifted 180°
@JesseDornfeld I find the kind of apologetics that seeks to justify ex-Biblica distasteful. It appeals to doubt and elevates man’s proof over Gods word. And we all know how reliable scientific consensus is in the long run. That’s just me though, where I am in my journey.
