@PilgrimIntoWord @CSLCHSnMore This may be a bit edgy, but I am surprised by the popularity of the Psalms. There are some beautiful Psalms, some sublime passages, but I suspect that lots who say they love the Psalms like some of them a lot. And ignore the harder ones. The imprecatory ones. The longer ones. I…
@PilgrimIntoWord @CSLCHSnMore Someone once said their favourite Bible book was the one they’d just studied - and there’s a lot in that. But I have a fondness for Matthew and Hebrews. I love how they bridge the Old with the New Testaments. Therein weaves the truth of the Gospel, the Law and the Prophets.
@OnTongues @HeraldOfPurity Do you have a blog? I use micro.blog because it is so minimal (requires very minimal setup and no maintenance for <$5/month) but it’s nice to have a permanent space separate to the walled gardens of social media.
@OnTongues @HeraldOfPurity Wow. That is a well organised thread and a cornucopia of information that you could easily lose yourself in. I would be very interested in it in ebook format if you ever consider that. I first came across your word map visualisations. An interactive ebook would be brilliant… t.co/j32X599gj…
@realdanieltitus Daniel! Stock photo. May not be accurate. t.co/ZaMjLwDvQ…
@OnTongues @thebereanmillen The sad thing is that Sam Smith has a great voice and could be doing such good in the world. In the past popstars were surrounded by affirming ‘friends’ who would feed their addictions, now they have friends who encourage this performative non-conformism. It will end in tears 😞
@HeraldOfPurity @AKofiCup Remember to them you are a straw-man. They don’t know you. Quite often they are playing to their crowd. I find it most hurtful when people who know me make assumptions about me that have no basis in truth or precedence (eg. In the workplace).
@men_like_trees @Vinsaneforjesus I didn’t feel it was too partisan regarding the reformed aspect though the featured ‘right idea’ speakers almost all come from that camp. Other than free will however I’m not terribly well tuned to the finer reformed red flags though. The one area where they struggled, I must…
@rcsprouljr @JesseDornfeld This is excellent. Thank you.
@OnTongues @JesseDornfeld You can really feel the battle between the spirit and the flesh when you walk away from something and avoid that ‘hot take opportunity’.
Take it to God, throw your anxieties upon Him, or take it to your blog after more considered thought 😅
I say this as someone who has no idea…
@RevelationOpen - Knowing what God is, and saying that He is what He is not.
- Knowing that He is good, but saying that He is evil.
- Attributing God’s work to the Devil, despite irrefutable evidence to the contrary right there before them.
“He said this because they were saying, ‘He has an…
@LogicalJoe @kithegi @MikeWingerii I’m sorry you feel that. You obviously don’t know me so I won’t take it personally. I was just speaking of my own experience.
@JesseDornfeld @AndrewS76825037 I had issues posting replies today. It worked on the Twitter iOS app, but not the website… maybe intermittent…
@OnTongues Thank you for using my work! I love how your words bring an additional dimension and depth to it! t.co/Rzs6BTS13…
@Vinsaneforjesus 100% Agree! Both movies are excellent. I watched ‘Christ Crucified’ last weekend and it is brilliant. Everyone should start with the first in the series though! Both are free on Amazon Prime Video, and Christ Crucified is free on AGTV through April. americangospelfilm.com
@LogicalJoe @kithegi @MikeWingerii My experience has been the opposite. No early immersion in organised religion. Came to Christ aged 48 (in 2020) having gone through a completely materialist, ‘science led’, atheist worldview and upbringing, realising that all the questions I had about the origins of existence…
@LogicalJoe @kithegi @MikeWingerii What caused you to come to that conclusion?
Mark 3:28–29 “Truly, I say to you, all sins will be forgiven the children of man, and whatever blasphemies they utter, but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is guilty of an eternal sin” —

@kithegi @LogicalJoe @MikeWingerii Revelation is all over this. But many Christians don’t read that far, unfortunately. And when the incarnated Christ revealed himself on earth there were many who refused to believe despite witnessing His miracles. Scripture sees and describes this all.
@Carpet16100850 WLC is weakest in his defence of a position that insists on other than a literal reading of Gen. 1-11. Matthew 24:37-39 is most concerning for me as it ties inextricably into Christ’s words in preparation for His second coming. All are part of a single straightforward narrative.
@OnTongues 😂 Ha ha ha… I’d not even tried that myself, but you’re right! The search is pretty quick too!
Thanks for exploring my site. It means a lot that you’re finding it interesting enough to dig around.
@PilgrimIntoWord I will know there is a revival in our countries when they dramatise the Old Testament like this in movies again 😀
@virginia_garret @KarlKohlhase If’s that’s a draft design I’d say you’ve nailed it! Looks great.
