@SarahGeringer Definitely something to think about.

@PilgrimIntoWord @SarahGeringer Thank you 😊

A8. ‘If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me. For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it; but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.’

Matthew 16:24-25 #HealthyFaithChat

@SarahGeringer A6. This account on Twitter is the only Social Media I do. I closed all my other accounts a few years ago because I felt it was driving unhealthy thinking. Here I work really hard to keep wordliness, politics, pride out of my feed. That is an uphill battle!

#HealthyFaithChat

@SarahGeringer A6. For me age and life experience has moved me away from a fixation on what I don’t have, to what I do. I was bought up by parents who seemed to have these same values. That rubbed off on me as I started raising my own family, and focussing on what they needed

#HealthyFaithChat

@SarahGeringer For a while I envied others who seemed to climb the career ladder quicker than me. Very few of them seem to have turned out happier as a result. Many ended up with far less job security, it seems. And I learnt to live happily within my means… #HealthyFaithChat

@CSLCHSnMore *doesn’t

More a pedant than a poet!

@SarahGeringer A3. Don’t lust after other people’s stuff. #HealthyFaithChat

@SarahGeringer A2. There’s a hierarchy of value, though I’m not sure why ‘house’ would come before wife, though ‘house’ speaks to status and standing which may have something to do with it… I’ve not really pondered on that question before. #HealthyFaithChat

@SarahGeringer Q1. Six or seven I think. I learnt some of the other 10 much earlier. #HealthyFaithChat

Morning all!

I’ve just started reading this. t.co/znxICRO46…

@TheAutisticSem Praying God gives you strength in dealing with the people who were getting at you. Remember that He will deal justly with them; that is why we can forgive and pray for them to repent.

@TheAutisticSem Oh no, you are totally right in calling a brother out. I agree on the autism thing (I’m husband and parent to three people in my house who have ASD diagnoses). It’s not really meme-worthy. My broader point expressed my personal view on engaging with atheists. They can be really…

@TheAutisticSem @exAtheistRCC I have no idea what the original post is getting at but I think it missed its mark. Anyway, love your enemies! And if anyone will not receive you or listen to your words, shake off the dust from your feet… 😀

@AndrewS76825037 Certainly things like the Twitter algorithm do not seem to discriminate between positive mentions and negative mentions. Mentions of any sort tell the algo something is worth pushing out more widely, so screenshotting is sensible to obscure the context.

Previously I’ve used services like the Unicode Text Converter, but that used up 2 characters for each visible character so wasn’t so good for longer messages. qaz.wtf/u/convert.cgi?…

Has anyone noticed the Bold and Italics options in the ‘Create Tweet’ window? Or is it just me 😀

This is on Web, and I have Twitter Blue so it may be something to do with that. t.co/O6bqS22Dd…

@AndrewS76825037 @StatlerMatthew Ha ha ha ha, it’s a real delicacy…! expressandstar.com/lifestyle/2013… My mum served them to my wife the first time I took her to meet them. 20 years later my wife still hasn’t forgiven her 😀
