@darwintojesus @HeraldOfPurity When we are dealing with kids as well we must be clear that we are judged by what we know (Luke 12:48) and this applies to degrees of maturity in children as much as knowledge of revelation in adults.

@darwintojesus @HeraldOfPurity We all sin. Kids need to know that. Knowing this is important but more important is recognising that Christ died so that we should be forgiven. True belief in Christ and what He did in our place gives us certainty of salvation, if we repent with honest and humble hearts.

@Carpet16100850 Agree. At least according to Einstein’s theory, all else constant, time will not pass in an arbitrary or capricious way. It will also progress at a constant rate.

Mark 12:43–44 Not the size of the offering, but the size of the sacrifice…

For they all contributed out of their abundance, but she out of her poverty has put in everything she had.

@JesseDornfeld Interesting how 23m views translates to what was c. 20k followers.

@JesseDornfeld I think that is what lends to the satisfying conclusion, and the change of pacing.

Yet here we see, only four verses later… Not far from the kingdom of God, but not nearly close enough. t.co/VHOZA2a2U…

@JesseDornfeld This is great Jesse, occasional unexpected word choices and changes in tempo urge you to stop for thought, and the ending brings a gentler conclusion, with another interesting wordplay (bare/bear) that has you think again. And what a subject. Thank you for sharing 😀

Mark 12:34 And when Jesus saw that he answered wisely, he said to him, “𝒀𝒐𝒖 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒇𝒂𝒓 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒅𝒐𝒎 𝒐𝒇 𝑮𝒐𝒅.” And after that no one dared to ask him any more questions. #wnaadv buff.ly/3UDqyrV t.co/iFwXRMxV1…

Mark’s record of Jesus and the scribe’s discussion about the greatest commandment is interesting on multiple levels. But Christ’s response to the scribe’s agreement is most profound, and worth thinking on: “𝒀𝒐𝒖 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒇𝒂𝒓 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒅𝒐𝒎 𝒐𝒇 𝑮𝒐𝒅.” t.co/snDVNV45M…

@KevinObie1 God has blessed us with amazing reconstructive techniques in this modern age and I truly hope your sister is able to recover fully despite the extent of the damage.

@HeraldOfPurity Totally agree with you on this. The hubris of man to think he can skip the tribulation and second coming, and impose some kind of ‘Kingdom of God’ without Christ as King on the throne. There’s a name for anyone presumptuous enough to take His place.

@EllieR It’s quite good fun. Just don’t trust it for reliable answers. One thing it is quite good is writing in different styles. Or building out from a bunch of bullet points. Detailed prompts give the best answers. You can also ask follow-ups and ask for examples, that kind of thing.

@AnnLindberg5 My wife and I lived together for about five years before we married. I thought I knew better at the time ☺️ One of the reasons I gave her for making it official at the time was because I wanted to call her “wife!” It is special 😀

@EllieR The funny thing is if I ask it to regenerate the answer or ask the same question again, it comes up with a different answer, so take it with a pinch of salt!

@EllieR I asked ChatGPT. According to Google there are 7.888 billion people on earth as of 2021. I’ve not checked the working out 😄 t.co/LEv9gBPlk…

@AndrewS76825037 @AleMartnezR1 Amen!

@AleMartnezR1 In August 2021 I sat down to read the New Testament. A thirty day plan. Reading the Bible end to end was always something I’d wanted to do. I felt something was missing and I wanted to know what it was really about. Once I’d finished the New I turned to the Old. 90 day plan…
