@men_like_trees @CSLCHSnMore Excellent interview Kevin. Well listened and well put.
@StoneKamino @CSLCHSnMore Boooo. ☹️ Hope it gets better from here.
@men_like_trees @CSLCHSnMore Yes. I think that will be more genuine than anything else. But I do need to think things through beforehand, so I am prepared. Don’t want to give my flesh any more room than it already has in the matter.
@PilgrimIntoWord @CSLCHSnMore 100% Agree. Superb questions. Will we be working through Jonah in subsequent weeks? #HealthyFaithChat
@CSLCHSnMore A9. Do you still feel daft for running away? But look how many people you saved! Isn’t a shame how things went after you were gone. #HealthyFaithChat
@HoneycombHermit Thanks for heads-up Keren #HealthyFaithChat
@CSLCHSnMore Providence had you ask that question today. #HealthyFaithChat
@CSLCHSnMore A8.2 I really wanted to make sure he had somewhere for the night AND share the Gospel. I really need to get my head prepared before time. #HealthyFaithChat
@CSLCHSnMore A8. I felt really conflicted today and I bottled it. Homeless guy outside the supermarket. Decided I was going to speak to him on the way out as I went in. When I came out someone had given him food. I just couldn’t think what to say.
I need to practice. #HealthyFaithChat
@CSLCHSnMore It’s appreciated! 😂
#HealthyFaithChat
@crawl_n @CSLCHSnMore Thank you. I feel there is so much I could have done in that time that was wasted. The Parable of the Workers in the Vineyard tells me that I am no less covered by Christ’s grace than anyone else, in that I know I am secure! All glory to God! #HealthyFaithChat
@CSLCHSnMore A7. When you read Jonah carefully, and when you read it in the light of the New Testament, Jonah clearly foreshadows the death and resurrection, the salvation of the undeserving, the salvation of gentile nations… There is so much in 4 short chapters. #HealthyFaithChat
@scrappybooogle Yes. #HealthyFaithChat
@CSLCHSnMore A6. I felt it was more that he held a hatred for the Ninehvites, a grudge if you want to call it that, and didn’t want them saved. Somewhat like the older Son in the Parable of the Prodigal. #HealthyFaithChat
@rayskidude @mickdscott @CSLCHSnMore 😳 He was Saul of Tarsus. Doh! My mistake, that’s embarrassing… thank you for the correction! #HealthyFaithChat
@CSLCHSnMore A5½ God is everywhere, all the time. There’s no getting away from Him even if you want to. Some may kid themselves that He’s no longer there, but time will vindicate Him.
#HealthyFaithChat
@CSLCHSnMore A5. All the lost years before I gave myself to Him, I know I’ve still got a lot of catching up to do. Not had that moment yet where I want to go in the other direction. I know I’m a babe in the faith. #HealthyFaithChat
@mickdscott @CSLCHSnMore A4. This! Though reading other’s comments I remember now, him running as far away from Niniveh as he could. Interesting that Saul (Paul) was later to come from Tarshish. #HealthyFaithChat
@CSLCHSnMore PdC has a driver, so he will be OK. #HealthyFaithChat
@HoneycombHermit @CSLCHSnMore Thank you, I’m looking forward to rest and a quiet but long weekend! #HealthyFaithChat
A3 Ha ha ha ha ha! I didn’t realise I needed to have done homework! I have cheated and looked something up. Niniveh was the largest city in the world for half a century until c. 612BC when it was destroyed by a coalition of neighbours… Nahum speaks of this. #HealthyFaithChat
@CSLCHSnMore A2. The emphasis when I was a kid was on the miracle of Jonah being saved by the whale, who gently delivered him to shore. I don’t recall him being reluctant, or why he needed to get to Niniveh even. There were nice pictures of a friendly whale though. #HealthyFaithChat
@scrappybooogle @rayskidude @CSLCHSnMore Same here. To butcher an idea, he who is first - last and he who is last, first. #HealthyFaithChat
@HoneycombHermit @CSLCHSnMore Hi Keren good to see you! #HealthyFaithChat
@CSLCHSnMore A1. Chicken! #HealthyFaithChat t.co/uDhtPa1w4…
