@SarahGeringer In a human sense, Grief allows us to reconcile with the memories of the past and move forward into the future. But it is not about forgetting, neither of our old selves, or of those we loved. #HealthyFaithChat
@SarahGeringer A6. Blessed are those who mourn. We mourn our natural selves, our worldly, lustful, selfish desires and interests, mourn that aspect of ourselves that must set aside as we renew our hearts in Christ. Grieving is a process we must go through to be reborn. #HealthyFaithChat
@SarahGeringer A5. Grace and Repentance. #HealthyFaithChat
@SarahGeringer A4. For a long time there was one sin I just could not shake, repetitive, habitual sin. I remember the day I prayed, and said no more. Held myself accountable to God who I will stand before in the New Kingdom. That day He gave me the self control I needed.
#HealthyFaithChat
@SarahGeringer A3. When we are humble, we put others, and God, before ourselves. Recognising that we are His and not the other way round shows humility. It is an absence of selfish desire and motivation. #HealthyFaithChat
@SarahGeringer A2. God’s jealousy is for that which is rightly His. He made us, He gave His only Son, It is His design and desire that we repent and believe. I am humbled that He chose me. #HealthyFaithChat
@SarahGeringer A1. We are Christ’s bride. God hates the carnality and brutishness of the world; when we choose it above Him, it’s like we commit adultery. In the OT Israel is described as whoring (ESV)… now there’s strong language for the same kind of thing! #HealthyFaithChat
@PilgrimIntoWord @CSLCHSnMore Hi Shannon!
@CSLCHSnMore Never heard of it! π€£π #HealthyFaithChat

@JesseDornfeld It seems legit.
@GladysChilds @AnnLindberg5 @CSLCHSnMore Thank you Gladys, that is so very appreciated.
@GarrettJohnnie @miles_commodore The only cologne that manly men in the 70’s knew would make them even more manly. Even Chuck Norris wore it. @CSLCHSnMore
@AndrewS76825037 Thank you!

Last day of work for 17 days, today! I’ve not had a break like this for a long time. So glad to be able to spend time with Mrs @WeNeedAnArk and I might even see something of the children if they get out of bed at a reasonable hour. And loads of time for reading! Woop! t.co/xKFNT3IlS…
@AndrewS76825037 @RFupdates That is exactly it! And then I turned to the Old Testament and realised how the whole thing was pointing to the New. It blew my mind and my entire world view just changed like that. No doubts, whatsoever.
@GodCallsUs @julesrprecious Yay! Got it right. Don’t worry Paul, if Jonah had got his way he wouldn’t have gone anyway, and we’d never have had to answer the question!
@AndrewS76825037 I saw Beauty & The Beast with my daughter at the theatre a few months ago. It was amazing. Had me crying at the end. Honestly ππ
@AndrewS76825037 @RFupdates I am the same. As a former athiest it wasn’t the ‘evidence for the ressurection’ but the coherence of scripture & what I can only call the work of the Spirit who opened my eyes to the truth that has always been. I find some aspects of apologetics too apologetic, for this reason!
@KevinObie1 @AnnLindberg5 I am grateful for others who have the courage to be honest. There is a pressure online to present a happy Godly home. Just like there is to show the glossy highlights about the rest of our lives. We pray and act as a light, and hope that He brings them back to the 99.
@AnnLindberg5 You both know that I came to Christ in my late 40’s, my kids are 15 and 17. And my wife does not believe. It is terribly hard and I feel a weight everyday because of it. This modern world makes leading our families so hard at the best of times. @CSLCHSnMore t.co/YKimFOmAK…
For any of you artists or writers, take a listen to this lovely version of Sondheim’s ‘Finishing the Hat’, describing the obsessive focus on completing a detail, and the sacrifices necessary to get things done.

@JesseDornfeld Great song!
@KevinObie1 100%. Still clinging to the greatness of our name!
