@SarahGeringer I hope that you have found peace Sarah. I am in a similar position. I truly believe that since I accepted Jesus’ gift of salvation I have been more resilient and better able to set boundaries and that has rubbed off on those around me too. Physician heal thyself as Luke said.
@AndrewS76825037 True. Thank you. I know that God hears your thoughts. I think a lot in a conversational way in the normal course of the day. As a child I was taught that praying was kneeling with hands together and that doesn’t feel comfortable. But I do talk silently to God.

Can someone be saved if they don’t pray? Is prayer a necessary fruit of sanctification? Even when we have no words the Spirit intercedes and hears our groans.
