@KevinObie1 @CSLCHSnMore Yes, you should not have to second-guess or self-censor with a real friend. #HealthyFaithChat
@ChrystalGilkey @CSLCHSnMore Definitely. In recent years it has become so sad seeing more and more people dividing over secondary, worldly differences that have no real consequence. I think this is reflection that people have fewer real life & death trials and problems to worry about. #HealthyFaithChat
@CSLCHSnMore A2 Obsessive interests, to be honest. My oldest friends are ones I got to know through collecting music, 30 or more years ago. As time has gone on they are the ones who have stuck with me through everything, and vice-versa.
#HealthyFaithChat
@AuthorJ_Fowler Good luck!
@KevinObie1 @CSLCHSnMore There may be comfort in sin. And sometimes ‘friends’ don’t have your best interests at heart. I can see what you mean, especially when true friendship has been somewhat devalued as we become more and more anonymous in the modern world, and modern cities. #HealthyFaithChat
@men_like_trees @CSLCHSnMore I agree - and there are experiences that can make friendships stronger than family. #HealthyFaithChat
@CSLCHSnMore A1. A relationship borne of a shared experience, outlook or interest, most often. Good friendships are like kinships. Honest and unvarnished. Protective and guiding. Not uncritical. And discipling, at best. #HealthyFaithChat
@KevinObie1 I have to be careful. Biblical allegories keep unconsciously creeping into my every day speech. Don’t want to be out of context weird guy! #HealthyFaithChat
@AuthorJ_Fowler Morning James!
@KevinObie1 Yeah, it’s a bit of a white elephant at the moment, but you won’t be laughing when the rain starts!
@CSLCHSnMore Indeed. For two whole days! Give it another two and there will be a hosepipe ban!
Good morning brothers and sisters, from Nick in the sunny UK. It’s a pleasure to be here today. We’ll miss you @virginia_garret

@CSLCHSnMore Well I’m honoured to be amongt the 20 or so you remember on Fridays! That’s quite a ratio, 25/125000 !
@KariLGreenaway @RachaelColby7 @hummingbirdmom4 @thnorfar @campbosco @RealPaulAhnert @live_the_light @PsJasonThompson @mtjohnson51 @poemblaze @lukelemberg @JasonWalker_ @megaronnyd God bless you Kari. It must be such a stressful time.

@Carpet16100850 Totally! Can you imagine?! One lesson from scripture is that the more signs and wonders, the more cynical and demanding people seemed to get! Hence Jesus often slipping off and leaving the crowds wanting more.
@realdanieltitus No problem! I hope you have an excellent day! Do you have any plans?
Serious question.

Thanks be to God for his inexpressible gift! (2 Corinthians 9:15)
Happy Birthday @realdanieltitus t.co/CK9CIZQFe…
@CSLCHSnMore Agreed, Idris Elba would be an amazing Bond.
@JesseDornfeld I’m interested in Christian Death Metal as a thing, because it seems quite counter-cultural. Like Straight-Edge Hardcore was in the 80’s? And musically, I find it cathartic sometimes. Are there any good introduction to the scene, that you would recommend?
@JesseDornfeld It’s not a genre I’ve focussed on lyrically before, because the vocals are so buried. Most of the bands I liked were either political (environmental, leftist) or into morbid humour (eg. Carcass). I never got into the Satanic stuff, thankfully.
@JesseDornfeld When I was younger, late 80’s, a friend turned me on to Carcass (Reek of Putrefaction) and Bolt Thrower (Realm of Chaos). Napalm Death’s ‘From Enslavement to Obliteration’ was one of the first LP’s I bought. I’ve had a fondness for Death Metal and Grindcore ever since.
@JesseDornfeld I must admit that until I came across your posts I had no idea that there was such a thing as ‘Christian Death Metal’. It’s good that there are people in that scene proclaiming God’s truth. The scene attracts a lot of people searching for meaning.
