@aivazovski_art I love how Aivazovsky captures the power and majesty of the sea.
@RachaelColby7 That looks amazing! Classes would just teach you how someone else would do it - but you seem to be doing completely fine your own way! That’s pro-class stuff right there.
@NGetzlow @men_like_trees I was 48, Neil. The big 5-0 next year. I too was an atheist who thought they’d got it all figured out. I’m just praying for my wife now! Have a great weekend!
@men_like_trees Which one are you thinking of? There are many. I’d be interested to see which one you suggest. As of right now I’m not able to attend church due to caring responsibilities. I hope that will change at some point through as I need and miss fellowship.
Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him!

@men_like_trees That would be really helpful, it’s easy to get lost without an outline to hold to.
@men_like_trees I knew I was looking for something when I started the Gospels but didn’t realise that I would actually find it like I did.
@men_like_trees I made a note of my progress each week as at that time because I was working from a printed ‘90 Day OT Bible Plan’ that I’d cross off each day. When I realised what was going on, there was an urgency to it.
@men_like_trees Lol, was it 40 days or 120? I think it was 40. Somewhere around Genesis 9. t.co/i1nZK7fdw…
@men_like_trees Not yet… if I were to do it properly, it could get quite long, and I would like to do it properly when I do… πππΌππ»
Another verse found in @SarahGeringer’s new book Hidden Manna on a Country Road. Thank you!

@men_like_trees I must admit I thought it was further back than that. I’ve been so immersed, that it feels like longer. Changed from the inside out.
I know I have a long way to go though. Jesus did the work, I just need to honour him, and that is something I feel I’ve a lot of catching up on.
@men_like_trees It seems that I just passed my 1 year anniversary.
I bought my first Bible on August 3rd 2021. I read the New Testament in 30 days, and then the Old Testament in 90 days. I listened to hundreds of hours of BibleThinker non-stop.
Somewhere during that 40 days I was saved.
@men_like_trees Most important is to actually read and study, as a habit and a priority. I am starting out. As someone who came to Christ late, I’m playing catchup. I’m focussed on the basics at the moment!
@men_like_trees I’m at 1, 2, 6, 5, 3, 7, 8 at the moment… I must admit I do rely on other people’s translations, but I often check multiple translations to understand bits of scripture that are tricky or unclear. YouVersion ‘Compare’ is very good for this.
And some say there is no evidence of The Trinity in the early Church.

@CDGingrich I was going to post that same painting in the next day or so! Itβs a lovely one.

@backpewguy @PilgrimIntoWord @agnesisaiah4110 @bethany_smythe @bisbanowrites @ambaptized @abitconfuzed I would love to, but the weekday chats are 2am in the UK! I’m going to have save myself for Saturday! I hope you have a good one tonight.

@SarahGeringer I will definitely leave a review - and soon. Had a bit of a hectic weekend, last, which threw my plans… but I will get to it shortly π
